METHODOLOGY

Training with Mango maximises action and interaction, blending individual and group exercises. Participants master key concepts through role plays, games, quizzes, case studies, discussions and reflective sessions

STRUCTURE

1.    Self-Evaluation
Explore your current approach to time and whether you have Type A or B inclinations. Identify your chronotype and when your energy levels at their highest. Explore how much time you spend on low importance but high value tasks. Recognize your most common timewasters and their impact.

2.    Planning
Identify how you can plan time to avoid task duplication and errors. Learn how you can leverage quadrant 2 and the importance vs urgency matrix. Discover the power of micro goals and using these to tackle high value tasks.

3.    Focus
Explore how you can maximize productivity and personal efficacy. Harness the power of ‘flow’ by setting challenges at the right skill level. Use habit breaking to overcome procrastination. Leverage techniques like ‘Pomodoro’ to overcome focus problems.

4.    Relationships
Discover how you can manage up and avoid interruptions respectfully. Cut down on updates and meetings without a clear purpose. Learn how to delegate tasks without relying on power.

5.    Goal Setting
Explore how to set goals using the SMARTEST methodology and the 5 As (assessable, aspirational, agile, aligned, and accountable). Examine how to avoid goal setting errors and ambiguity.
