This workshop is designed for anyone who needs to manage or work in multi-generational teams. This workshop will cover the basics of Generational Intelligence and how to leverage the diversity of skills and ideas from multi-generational teams.

METHODOLOGY

STRUCTURE

1.    Understanding
Explore the four key ideas behind Generational Intelligence. Learn how you can identify your own current level and identify areas of growth. Explore the ROI of Generational Intelligence and examine case studies of businesses that hit the sweet spot.

2.    Motivation
Recognize your own level of motivation and explore ways to motivate yourself and others to develop their desire to understand and succeed with cross-generational teams.

3.    Knowledge
Build your knowledge of the key historical events and defining cultural influences on each generation. Understand the wants, needs and aspirations of each generation and build deeper empathy.

4.    Strategy
Explore how to prepare for multi-generational exchanges and meetings. Discover how to build a culture of inclusivity. Identify your own core values and what you are prepared to be flexible with. Learn how to use motivators, feedback and coaching to build engagement.

5.    Action
Learn how to modify your approach based on observation and reflection. Adapt your communication approach and language to be inclusive. Limit referencing and language that excludes. Avoid stereotyping and assumptions.
