Instructor
Sinthana Velayutham
Sinthana Velayutham is an avid knotter and weaver whose journey began eight years ago with a humble plant hanger. Over time, her passion grew, leading her to create bigger and more challenging pieces. The knotting is immersive and a calming process once you are familiar with the basic knots.
Her interest has also taken her to another skill, ie weaving. She spins on her spinning wheel and drop spindle to create a joyful bundle of artyarn. The incorporation of macrame and artyarn techniques births macraweave.
She is also a HRDCorp Certified Trainer and an experienced trainer in the corporate world.
Her sessions are lively and fun which brings out a sense of creativity and fulfillment leaving the participants relaxed with a new set of skills and their own masterpiece!
