STRUCTURE

1.    The Agile Mindset
Differentiate between being agile and being bureaucratic and how those mindsets can affect the way your approach meetings. Uncover the importance of agile meetings in a VUCA world.

2.    Agile Methodology
Discover the difference between Scrum and Kanban and how you could start to incorporate these methods in your meetings. Identify the various agile roles and see where you fit in.

3.    Scrum Meetings
Develop your understanding of the four types of Scrum meetings. Discuss how each can be used to make your own meetings more dexterous and efficient. Conduct a Sprint Retrospective to examine your own meeting skills from an agile perspective.

4.    Count the Cost
Question the existence of meetings and discover the massive cost associated with wasted time and inefficient meetings. Use step-by-step procedures to reduce the load of meetings on your team.

5.    Running Efficient Meetings
Use active listening techniques to keep the meeting on track. Build trust to foster productive communication. Counter disruptive behaviours and manage up when you’re not the chairperson.
