1.    Planning
Learn the different types of crises and the strategies of organizations who have transformed crises into opportunity. Discover how to prepare effectively for a crises by building case scenarios. Learn to draw up a crisis communication plan and who you want on your crisis team.

2.    Internal Communication
Build a crisis directory and learn how you can build a communication flow. Explore how to keep track of the press. Ensure your organization is agile and responsive if a crisis occurs.

3.    Target, Tool, Message and Timing
Identify your communication tools and key stakeholders. Discover how you can build your messaging and the key components of concern, relief and reassurance. Prepare holding statements that you can use to fill the media vacuum.

4.    External Communication
Learn how to communicate with the media effectively through by establishing credibility and context. Leverage clarity and simplicity and anticipate difficult questions. Hone gravitas and empathy for live media appearances. Learn how to handle the press. Strategize for dealing with social media.
